DEFCON
Some may recall the discussion on this technology in a thread a couple of years back. http://www.qatarday.com/blog/information/salt-water-powered-car-gets-approval-in-europe-/17441
deicer
It would be interesting to see this on the road. Two questions I have, first, it says that it creates 'carbon dioxide' in the process. Isn't that part of the problem? Second, where would the waste salt water go? Wouldn't you end up with toxic roadsides covered in salt deposits? The Navy project to make fuel from seawater looks more interesting. That way you could have 'refineries' which could keep the process localised, but it produces a familiar liquid type of fuel. Only time will tell.
Say Again, Over!
Blah blah blah! The owner is a known scam artist who's not presenting his first unicorn to the world. Apparently, GE has been trying for years to accomplish the efficiency that this guy has in his "garage". When he has one for sale for less than $1.7M and publishes a paper or two about his processes, I'll believe it. In the meantime, he's just milking investors dry. boestar
if you can create more energy than is required to created it then you have broken the laws of physics and will be a billionaire. Creation of energy or change of state has a cost. Nothing is free in nature.
DEFCON
Until we understand gravity, the 'laws' of physics remain open to reinterpretation & revision. Regardless, the technology and the guy behind the program have been in development for a long time now. Although it's not impossible, it's hard to imagine investors hanging on without seeing positive results for themselves.
