CD
When the aircraft was originally certified they would have used five f/a's, would they not?The Boeing 737-800/900 has a maximum passenger seating configuration of 189. Boeing demonstrated this configuration during initial type certification via analysis rather than by conducting an actual demonstration. The analysis would have used the most critical cabin crew requirements, which is the ratio of 1 flight attendant per 50 seats - or 4 flight attendants.
