AME
this is a blurb for our company website, I hadn't heard about it beforeIn other news, you have to be careful of which bag you pick up. This week JetBlue passenger, RachelHazen, picked up the wrong bag after clearing TSA screening. She realized the mistake once sheboarded the aircraft and found a gun insider the bag. As it turns out the bag belonged to a JetBlue pilotfrom another flight who is part of a security program to arm certain pilots.
mo32a
I'm trying to picture this and it confuses me. Another pilot goes through security and has his nail clippers seized, but you can go through carrying a gun. What a muddled mess the theatre of security is.What would happen if the gun toting pilot lands in Canada due to a diversion or whatever, can he carry his gun through our CATSA security? If so, what possible sense is there in making any flight crew go through security?
Moon The Loon
The TSA is living proof of Forrest Gumps most famous axiom.Do I hafta spell it out? Afterthought: I think the pilot should be charged with careless handling of a firearm in that he did not monitor his bag closely enough or have it marked plainly enough that it was a crew bag.
