Kip Powick
OK..I'll go first....It would be a change of pace to see what musical videos, (Youtube, etc.) that posters like. Just a change of pace from the everyday stuff that goes on this board. For example J.O. posted a link to a BLUE MAN video in one of the threads here that I had not seen, and I think it was just greatLet's limit it so that you can only post a maximum of three videos........in three separate postings in this thread. If you wish, a small preamble can accompany each video..possible explanation of why you like the video or the gendre of the particular music you post.MY FIRST.....In my opinion this is one of the most under rated bands of days gone past. I would love to have been able to put this music to a video shot out of the canopy of a "whiz-bang" machine, 3 or 4 plane formation, while honking on 5-6G turns around some staggering cumulos.Unfortunately the video equipment wasn't available then No video here...just the music....good speakers help!! J.O.
Great start Kip. I really like their work too. That tune brings back many memories of my late teens / early 20s.I know I'm a shill for Gilmour but I can't help it. Here's some of my favourite artists performing the work of Syd Barrett, another fave of mine.http://www.youtube.c...h?v=K499HpGF46E

J.O.
Only three, huh?Okay, here's my final installment. As you can tell, it's all about the guitar for me. Nothing subtle about Gary Moore, that's for sure.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXYjEMTQRm0

Kip Powick
Lots of guitar lovers !!! J.O. the video of Gary Moore was awesome...real Hendrix. I am sure Mitch and MURRAY will probably add more "string' instruments Manwest..that is a rather catchy tune and the use of the synthesizer really makes it different...good stuff.J.O. ..my second selection is an artist that is brand new to me and you actually got me to do the "googling" and find out more about her. She was featured on the BLUE MAN song, (Donna Summers old tune), so I hunted around and this is one of her latest. I love a solid beat, I guess cause I played in a R and R band for 7 years, as a drummer, and this tune has got a very catchy beat.....and this young lady can sing..I hope she does more. Here is VENUS HUM.. J.O.
For anyone who likes a good rock and roll show and also likes Christmas music, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra is not to be missed. Kip Powick
SRV.Montreux 1985 SRV...a man gone before his time... RIP..I have two VHS tapes of him. The first is the first time he did Austin City Limits and then when he came back a few years later and did another show at the same place. It was a documentary on how he had managed to mature and take his talent in stride...he was g-o-o-d.
