Peter Gill
Geez, maybe someone should ask RAA if there's an economic rationale? Or maybe RAA should provide a subsidy so WJ will start it up?
internet
No more non-stop flights for the Sask. MPs. And of course Wascana voted Liberal. (must be part of the Conservative hidden agenda) Darn.He didn't take it anyway... "This is unfair to the travelling public," Wascana MP Ralph Goodale said about the decision Wednesday, noting he doesn't use the direct-to-Ottawa flights because their times don't work well for Parliamentary activities. They don't. Do the math.
zipped
Well folks there was a time not too many years ago that every provincial capital had a direct flight to YOW except......you guest it YYJ. After lobbying by the travel industry and other business groups the N/S to YYZ went on going to YOW. It didn't sell well but it was a direct flight. Spinnaker
I like the WestJet approach lately; If you want the service then guarantee it with a subsidy. Maybe Ralph knows something that Air Canada's marketing doesn't know? Politicians and Airport Authorities can then anti up or shut up.
