Air Cadets

On a lighter note than the prevaiing topics...

A few posts below got me thinking. I spent the better part of my teen years as an Air Cadet. I got both my glider and private licences through cadets, learned a whole lot more about life than I would have in just high school alone, and made some lifelong excellent friends. To this day, some of my best friends were people I met in cadets.

IMO this is probably one of the best youth groups out there, and I am glad I experienced it.

Just curious as to the amount of cadet alumni here on the AEF.

I think I gave you that nickname on rgs 91.

Something about your new flight jacket on the way to Picton...

Fond summer camp memories.... "Eyes Right" for those fine civilian instructors sunbathing as we marched by.... on the way to sweep the hanger.
