wjafa
Hundreds of earlybirds Zoom in and book up for cheap Cardiff-Canada flights Dec 18 2004 ZOOM Airlines yesterday said it has been inundated with bookings for its new Cardiff-to-Toronto service which will be launched next year. The airline said it had received more than 500 bookings in the first week of the flights going on sale, with its online reservation service, www.flyzoom.com, dealing with an influx of inquiries on a daily basis. The service from Cardiff International Airport will begin next May, with weekly flights to Toronto on Mondays starting from £89 one way. Debbie Marshall, UK director of Zoom Airlines, said, “Our Cardiff flights have been in great demand since the launch which demonstrates there is a real appetite for this type of service in Wales and the west of England. "People are showing their willingness to book well in advance to take advantage of the lowest possible fares and to save disappointment." Next year Zoom will be operating scheduled flights from Gatwick, Glasgow, Manchester and Cardiff, servicing the Canadian cities of Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Halifax, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg. The Cardiff link was widely welcomed.
