From what I have read, he did not have much of a need for this travel in July. Most was a simple PR trip with lots of Photo opportunity. Money for fuel and accomodations could have been saved. By cutting back his unnecessary travel he could have been sending us a message re saving resources and cutting back travel rather than proving "Do as I preach, not as I do" Lots of nice places to vacation here in Canada, including of course his very expensive renovated summer quarters. It was the daughter of the employee who is the entitled one. There is nothing g in the article to even suggest the employee was aware and/or approved of the daughter’s complaints to management and media

I'm starting to wonder if these sort of things should just be ignored. How much of this madness is directly attributable to social media? Loons and trolls start a twitter thread, the media picks up on it, an "expert" defends it, and politicians (eager to out crazy each other) incorporate it into their buffoonery as if it was somehow reflective of common opinion/sentiment. I know they're out there, but I don't know a single person who doesn't roll their eyes at L/W loons... much less one who actually agrees with them.

Just goes to show that when allowing a relative to travel on your passes, you must make sure they understand the pass policy.
