conehead
There is an Air India 777 parked outside the Air Canada hangar in YYZ, that dropped in unexpectedly about 10 days ago. There is a GE rep sitting there for the last 3 days, waiting to make repairs. But AI says they are having trouble supplying the parts. GE could supply the parts, but AI won't pay. So I was mystified how they could afford the lost revenue of leaving a 777 sit broken for that long, but after reading the above story,I now see that it is cheaper to let it sit there than it is to fly it. Quite the business plan!
